SEMA Tradeshow Booth Design
The Specialty Equipment Market Association Tradeshow in Vegas is a massive event in the Fall of 2023. This project is a great example of my ability to work across multiple teams and mediums of design, connect abstract ideas & goals, and execute them in a way that achieves the most impactful result.
Establishing The Project Scope
To begin with I had to create the project scope. Establishing goals, key deadlines and specifications, and stakeholder needs. I then organized the project roadmap, distributed it to the team, and began conceptualizing our strategy.
Creating The Booth Layout
The first step in this project was to decide on stand dimensions, table specifications, and booth layout with the printer. I led the team as we decided on these details and moved to designing the artwork.
Creating A New Workflow
Because of the unprecedented scale of this project, and the need to communicate design ideas between cross-disciplinary teams, I implemented a 3D workflow and built this booth in a 3D space to showcase to-scale artwork and successfully convey design visions to key stakeholders.
Planning With The User In Mind
After locking in the layout I mapped out the user paths most likely to be taken through the exhibit before planning the artwork that would be featured on the individual displays.
Turning Concept Into Fruition
After the conception phase of the project, I dove straight into developing an impactful display that would best communicate the products, at the highest visibility show Firstech had ever attended. Promising over 150,000 brand impressions.
